Korean Grammar - BASIC TENSES, 한국어 기본 문법

Korean grammar order is S + ... + V. And all the elements have its ending which shows what kind of element it is in the sentence. In speaking, it tends to omit sometimes, if it is not necessary.

For the verbs. (verb in Korean means 'normal verb' + 'be + adjective'.)
We normally end with '-요.' or '-다.' Many textbooks use '-다' because this one is considered as 'basic form' in National Institute of Korean Language's rule.

However, '-다' form is not used in speaking a lot. Mostly, we use '-요' form.
Other than,

죄송합니다.
실례하겠습니다.
잘 먹겠습니다.
