Forget ; 잊다. 잊어버리다. 잊어먹다. 까먹다.
그 사람을 잊었어요. I forgot him.(with intention)
(깜빡하고) 잊고 있었어요. 까먹고 있었어요. I've totally forgotten it. (by mistake)
이제는 잊어먹었어요. (in peace, without any worry) I forgot it now. (I naturally forgot it. I don't care.)
아! 깜빡했어요./(깜빡하고) 잊어먹었어요./버렸어요. I forgot. (by mistake. that's my fault!)
잊으세요! 잊어버리세요! Forget it! (And never remind)

lose ; 잃다, 잃어버렸다
도박으로 돈을 잃었다. I lost my money on gambling. (I know where I lost it with what reason.)
도박으로 돈을 잃어버렸다. (Now I regret that. I feel bad. Oh! What should I do!)
책을 잃어버렸어요. I lost my book.(where is it?)
잃어 버리세요! (X) (It could be used by the people like gangsters... But sounds still weird. But you can say it.)
